Mauro's style isn't for everyone, and the man has been open about the challenges managing his bipolar disorder which has made his appearances over the past few years more sporadic, but personally, I LOVED Mauro's style of play-by-play. He was peak NXT for me and the early days of the brand split 2.0 with him on Smackdown, he was great. He has an excitement which gives me Joey Styles vibes and while sometimes in that excitement his other colour may gets overshadowed a touch, he makes any match feel HUGE.
So if he'd get to MLW and stay, he'd be a huge get.
