When did they move Blood and Thunder to? It was originally set for January and got replaced by Kings of Colosseum. I hope they’re still doing it.

I didn't recall that but wiki has it as March 1st now

Court seems very attached to most all the names he's came up with in the past that I'd be surprised if any are dropped completely, he does skip years sometimes. He even brought back the One Shot name and made it make sense since it was originally a one time show before the revival

Excellent. And yeah when I was first looking into possibly watching MLW again because of the fact that the TV show and the paperviews were included in my fite plus, I was on the MLW website and they were advertising blood and thunder for January.

It’s honestly good for branding if you don’t change up the names too much. Plus this is the first time that he’s doing monthly events so it makes sense to keep almost every name you’ve already used and then just only have to fill in a couple new ones wasn’t the one shot for their first show back?

Yeah and they did it again recently bc it was a "WTF" branded show

The names are all good too I'd prefer them not be changed anyway. The only thing I wish they'd do a tad less of is these fake promotion invasion things, they're all good but this is now like the third one lol it's like they're crutch to book a fake competitor to compete against

I think they might have the best catalogue of event names on the Indy seen even better than Ring of Honor outside of death before dishonor and final battle. I think MLW has a Better range of event names. Like Battle Riot and War Chamber are awesome marquee names that also resonate with a unique draw for the card.

I imagine the WTF thing was to mock Vince during the lawsuit. It’ll probably die soon now that they’ve settled. It’s TNA syndrome to need a takeover storyline. Which I liked most of the stables used for them as in a faction guy at heart, but not every faction needs to takeover the company.

Yeah it's def straight upocking Vince, the Hammerstone stuff had "contract tampering" elements

But even outside of that Salina has her "promotions dorado" or whatever and I do think Cesar Duran said he was still planning to come back, he was just written off temporarily while he filmed an actual TV Show. He had "Azteca Underground" as his fake promotion

I will say, in a slight defense of court when it comes to the promotions specifically is, that’s a Vinceism that he picked up from the WWE where he calls every stable in his company a promotion. If you look on the MLW website it specifically says promotions, and then, for the the managers of those stables, he calls them promoters instead.

i’m glad to hear that Cesar is returning though. I like Salina as well but his sliminess is unmatched. I’m not sure if they’re going to keep his promotion going though because the underground stable was mostly AAA guys and they’re not doing that with them anymore. Unless they revamp it with CMLL guys.

Oh, and by Vinceism, I mean like the way he recoins general phrases like how the fans are the WWE universe

Salina's is mostly CMLL rn actually but yeah I just want Cesar back on screen he doesn't need to do the promotion thing, he was just a good authority figure. Hell he could actually be a temporary face against Salina since theyve always had issues and I think it'd go over well just bc he's so popular despite always being the corrupt heel, people would love cheering him for a bit

Yeah, I think you’d be fine just being the authority figure. I think at one point they were calling him the MLW matchmaker too.

They have to continue the feud with Salina. It’s been years since she “disappeared” and now he’s MIA.

And I agree. I wouldn’t make Salina the babyface with the way the story has progressed here and the fans would easily pop for his return.
