He's fun to watch. I hope he mows down the Yanks and Sox all year long.

He still needs to find a catcher though.

Yeah, in his book he wrote all about those days. He was kind of in a bad spot and didn't have his pitch perfected until he landed in the minors as a met. It's a thing of beauty

Instant 3/4 chub from seeing that.

We'll see how torqued you are when AL mashers are depositing that floater into the upper deck.

He's actually had pretty good success the past 3 years. Last year was just amazing though.

Like I said I'm rooting for him and the Jays, just don't really trust knuckleballers at the end of the day.

I think by mid-season you'll be taking these comments back, with a side of humble pie :true:

Love this time of year, all the big news come from players sitting for "soreness, bruises, blisters" and it makes me think of when we had Ben Sheets as our ace :haha:

I remember him, he was pretty damn good for a while. I'll go back in time, but the biggest blister whiner I ever saw was when we had Al Leiter. Literally he'd get a blister after every 3-4 starts and miss the next 2-3.

That was Sheets for us every year. Dude would go out once a month and miss 2 starts with a blister on his throwing hand.

Yeah Sheet's WAS our big player for a while there, he was the only one we could count on to win 10+ and he was 15+ often. Glad he finished out in ATL, was really hoping we could scoop him for this offseason (we all knew it was going to get tough here for this season with 2 pitchers coming off injury, and our young talent finally being ready to move up.
