Johnny Ace was actually pretty solid in these matches.

Misawa was the Ace of All Japan from the beginning. He was like Giant Baba's son and in return Misawa treated Baba like his father. That is why Misawa felt bad for leaving All Japan and creating his own company, but Baba's wife, from accounts from several people, was a real bitch and he left. He also made Elbows famous in pro-wrestling, which is a stable now, because Baba, Tenryu, and others used Chops so he wanted to set himself a part and wanted to make them common place. As well, he was the first person in All Japan's history to win a match by submission, he won with a Seated Arm-Trap Crossface, which wasn't done back then. It is a shame that he could never properly retire and had to carry NOAH on his shoulders until his end.

Misawa, Kobashi, Akiyama, Kawada, and Taue are five wrestlers of that helped shape wrestling into what it is today both in the Western and Eastern world.
