Yeah tbf this realm was made when Caves and Caverns was the new expansion, so it's gonna have some fucking insane cave systems.

Updated world map

Looch is currently exploring the area that shall be henceforth known as Excelora Polaris.

Minor update, the world map is going to eventually turn into a 4x4 set.

Here's the current layout of the world map now that I've explored Excelora Occidentes. The 4x4 grid is going swimingly. Current names for the areas:

Tbh you'll only really need the map of the area you've decided to settle in to post it and mark your settlement on the map

A major update, Libonotus is about halfway done and Australes is in the process of being done.

If you use a copy of that base map, then yes. Any other person, who also uses a copy of that same map, fills your map as well if they explore an area.

They just have to be all copies from the base maps.

Unfortunately no, it has to be manually explored with the map in possession. But if you have the map copied and handed out to other players, the map will fill up the empty space where other players are, which means in a team effort, 3 players with the same map could fill out the whole area in less than an hour.

Additionally if you hang up a locator map in the same area that you are in for it, it will put down a marker on the map itself, which is going to be our universal indicator for a settlement.
