Now a days, when a celebrity grows up, they become more promiscuous and really slutty. There are many examples of this, the case with Miley Cyrus is the exact same. Over the years, she has changed so much. And although it is none of my business, I say she hasn't changed in a good way.

I suppose you didn't since you decided to respond to my post, acting like I am the biggest pile of shit for having an opinion about her....all the while having an opinion about her.

Grow a backbone, people judge all the time. You did it quite easily in your post. You know nothing about her personally, I know nothing about her personally, everyone's opinions come from how she perceives herself in the public eye. Her twitter has had quite a few selfies from the waist down, in nothing but a baseball shirt, bent over with her ass as the main view, etc. If she wants to be looked at as a classy girl, don't do those things. If she really is a classy girl, yet, continues to post those kinds of pictures, then, yes, I would absolutely say she is looking for attention. You have to be pretty ignorant to not think a girl posting suggestive photos and seen running around in barely there clothing isn't out for attention. There's a difference between a girl in a tank top and shorts and a girl with her chest visible and ass cheeks hanging out.

There are plenty of other female celebrities that don't act or dress this way. There is this awesome thing called class, which Miley actually used to have, until she felt that she needed to be 'edgier' and 'sexier' to try to shed the Disney image. I would rather be looked upon as a proper woman, personally.

It's also quite interesting to me how you only pointed out my post when pretty much every single person here has judged her, mostly in a negative way. If you have a personal problem with me (who are you, anyway?), we can certainly talk it out.

Sorry, I didn't mean to call you out or anything. Only reason I quoted your post was because it happened to be on the bottom when I looked at the thread. Certainly nothing personal. Your post struck me as a little mean, that's all. It's fine to have an opinion, but you were saying you hope she gets aids and dies. Even for the internet, it seemed a little brutal.

To be honest, I'm not a Miley Cyrus fan. I've never heard a song of hers and I've never seen a single tweet. I glanced at her wikipage quickly, just to see if she was as awful as some of the users in this thread claim, but she really doesn't seem that bad to me. Just a chick living her life. She sleeps around and smokes weed, but so what? It's her life, her body. She can do what she wants with it. If she wants to be seen as a classy girl, then no, she wouldn't do those things. But obviously she's not aiming at a classy image. Criticizing her for acting like a slut is like criticizing the sky for being blue.

But I think I see what your issue is. You resent her for shedding the Disney image and you think she's only acting 'sexy' and 'edgy' to boost record sales or whatever. Me, I'm not bothered by any of that. I never knew her Disney image, but I can understand how the fans who liked that image might feel a little betrayed. I'm not sure if you were a fan of hers, but the focus of your rage certainly seems to be her transformation more than anything else. Honestly, though, from what I've read I don't think this new image is a business ploy. I think it's pretty natural to her. I think it was the Disney image that was the business ploy.

Yeah, that what I was thinking. I was just on youtube a few minutes ago to check out her latest single, just out of curiosity. Can't remember what it's called, but the lyrics are basically to the effect of "fuck you, don't judge me." It had more dislikes than likes, lol. She seems to be pretty unlucky as far as public opinion goes.

Well to be honest if she is doing this to shred the image of her Disney self and what people think of her, then she is still a slave to their opinion. It's not a whole "fuck you I do what I want" phase, it's more of doing what other people don't want her to do. She's basically stuck in the same circle, just going backwards. People's opinions are still affecting her, and it's still affecting her. A true, fuck you I do what I want is when you really do what YOU want. Not do something because it's what someone wants or doesn't want, you don't think about them because it's something you want to do. This doesn't really feel like a real Miley honestly, it just seems like she is trying to be the opposite of what people want. That's just my opinion though, I honestly don't catch it cute, nice, sweet, or anything positive. Outside of this thread I don't even mention her at all because she's not worth discussing in everyday terms. A random girl walking down the street in skimpy outfits would still get people talking. For a celebrity, sure, the attention is a lot more because they are basically on display for the world, every move they make is documented, and there is more influence there. In that kind of career, you have to realize that, in her case, young females look up to her, and young females will copy her. If they see her walking around with her ass out, they'll want to do the same to 'be like Miley'.

The random girl walking down the street will probably just get dirty looks, laughing and pointing, whatever the case may be, and their day will go on within seconds.
