WrestlingNewsSource.com has learned more information via the Chicago Tribune concerning the recent arrest of former WWE announcer and RAW General Manager Mike Adamle.
Adamle, 61, was revealed to have a blood alcohol level below the 0.08% legal limit. Chicago police Chief Richard Eddington stated that he "would not dispute" the reports saying that Adamle's actual blood alcohol level was 0.04%. Eddington also stated that he was "unaware" whether or not Adamle had actually displayed any other signs of erratic driving after being pulled over by Chicago police at around 1:00 Monday morning, but does confirm that Adamle failed a field sobriety test that was administered to him before being taken to the police station, where witnesses say Adamle exhibited some "erratic behavior", which police Commander Jay Parrott would not elaborate on.
Eddington also announced that it is still possible to file DUI charges against someone who has a blood alcohol level below the legal limit, such as Adamle had, but since Adamle's blood alcohol level was below the legal limit, proving the charges will be more difficult.
