Michael Keaton in talks to play Batman again

I can't believe it. I mean, I just can't believe it. Where do you get those wonderful toys?



Michael Keaton is in talks to actually return to the role of Batman once again for the first time since BATMAN RETURNS, according to The Wrap.



Talks are still early and could go either way but the idea is to have Keaton return as Batman in Ezra Miller and Andres Muschietti's standalone Flash movie. The film will be a play off of DC's popular FLASHPOINT PARADOX storyline where the Flash goes back in time to save his mother and creates a multiverse where anything is possible including dancing with the devil in the pale moonlight.



If anybody is wondering how wacky all of this could get, I recommend checking out DC's Animated film FLASHPOINT PARADOX. I mean, you wanna get nuts? Shit gets nuts.



If played well, this could be the coolest thing DC has ever done and leave the door open for endless opportunities to do whatever the hell they want with their characters.



Robert Pattinson is said to still be the future of the current Batman stories, but again.....this leaves the door open for anything. You love Batman, I fuckin' love Batman and the idea of multiple Batman storylines floating around out there suits me just dandy. More to come as it happens! Right now it's for him to play Batman in the upcoming Flash movie. But who knows what can happen once they get to talking. Either way, as a huge Batman/Keaton as Batman fan, this is great news that I never thought would ever happen.

That would be my guess and I've always thought no one would be better to play up that role like Bruce in the Animated Batman Beyond Show. What if...it has something to do with Flashpoint is still happening? A Batman from another Universe we can play with some many things if you want to play up with timelines, but I'm thinking about more Crisis in that regard. Keaton even in talks means to me he's doing the role for sure.

For live action, Michael Keaton has always been my favorite Batman so this is awesome news.

I can't wait to see what his Batman Suit will look like. For sure you want to honor the one he rocked before, but you kinda want to update it a little bit too. Just seeing Keaton on Screen telling Flash or other Super Heroes how to handle things is going to make me cry I know it.
