WWE has made some internal changes when it comes to who is managing their announcers behind the scenes, PWInsider.com has confirmed with multiple source.
Michael Cole had held that lead management position for a long time, but PWInsider.com has learned Cole has pulled back from those responsibilities in order to concentrate fully on his work on camera as the lead voice on WWE's Monday Night Raw and PPV events.
We are told that this was a Cole decision and one the company had no issue with.
The word making the rounds is that Sue Cundaro, who has been with the company for a long time and worked with Cole in managing announcers, has taken over his former responsibilities and will be overseeing the announcing team going forward.
