- Some of the stars who tried out for WWE when the company was in Mexico earlier this month were El Hijo de LA Park (son of LA Park), Bestia 666 (son of Damian 666), Zumbi, La Sombra, El Hijo del Fantasma, Volador Jr., CMLL star Magnus, Dr. Wagner III (son of Wagner Jr.) and Averno.

It was reported earlier that WWE Superstar Rey Mysterio got most of these guys their tryouts but apparently the only one he recommended was Bestia 666.

All of the masked men worked matches in the ring for WWE producers, without their masks, and were video taped.

Regarding Averno, it’s believed he is coming to WWE still, as soon as they are ready for him to feud with the original Sin Cara.

What are your thoughts on the possible Mexican Wrestlers joining the roster?

These were all guys from CMLL who tried out for WWE during the recent tour. Hopefully WWE pick up a few more quality wrestlers because the Latino market is huge now and they found the jackpot in Del Rio and to a lesser extent Sin Cara. WWE need more quality faces and heels that can get over so if these guys are good enough then WWE should sign them.

Funny thing they all wrestled for the producers without a mask.

Quite interesting if you ask me.

I missed that when I first read the article. WWE must have wanted to see how they can sell and you can't really see that without a mask. Plus when/if WWE bring them across there is probably a 50/50 chance they will be masked. They may go the Sin Cara route with them or they may go the Del Rio route.

The do a similar thing on every foreign tour where they give some local wrestlers try-outs.

Hopefully Averno gets a contract, it would be pretty dissapointing for him if he was ignored by them after it seemed like he was a sure thing to come to WWE.
