Am I the only one that would honestly pass up going to see Metallica in this day and age? I'm sorry, I love their old stuff, but the fact that the majority of the concert would be the blandness that is Death Magnetic completely turns me off.

I'm with you. I'll never see them live. Throwing more money at a greedy, corporate shill of a band like Metallica$h isn't what people should be doing. People should stop going to see them, stop buying their albums and stop caring about them. Maybe then they'd realize how far they've fallen from what they once were/what they once stood for.
