Mercury Update/CM Punk Sandwich

- Evan Bourne and Gail Kim will be appearing at Metropcs in Lansing, Michigan on Friday, February 12th from 5-6pm.

- Sheamus vs. John Cena for the WWE Title is being advertised for the RAW live event in Tucson, Arizona on March 20th.

- Word is that Joey Mercury has indeed signed a new deal with WWE last week and likely will be heading to the main roster soon for the SmackDown brand. One idea currently being discussed by the WWE creative team is to have Joey Mercury return on the SmackDown brand as part of CM Punk's Straight-Edge Society. Mercury was released in 2007 and it is well documented that he had a pain killer addiction, so the angle would likely be played off from this.

- Dr. Dory Funk Jr., a fourth generation member of the legendary Funk family, will make his pro wrestling debut at the !BANG! show on February 20th at the Funking Conservatory. He will team with Johnny Magnum and WWE Hall of Famer Dory Funk Jr. to take on the team of Hack Meyers, Shane Chung and Blain Rage.

- Former WWE star Armando Estrada has a sandwich on the menu of his Baby's Steak & Lemonade in Glendale, Arizona called the CM Punk, a grilled chicken breast with marinara and provolone. He also has a sandwich called the Big Vito.

I see Mercury/Morrison already. Either feud or tag team i don't really care tbh.

Why did Estrada make a sandwich and name it CM Punk?

I'd rather have Danielson in a position to better showcase his awesomeness. Mercury would just seem like the right fit for the SES, as long as he doesn't shave his head. A 4th member would also allow the new guy to tag with Gallows and for Punk to go to the ME.

They will start with Mercury visiting Morrison backstage. He might make his way out during a Punk promo and say he needs to be saved from himself or some crap like that.

The "SES" angle is great, I love how Punk continues to preach to the fans as if he's their god, awesome stuff. I wouldn't mind seeing Mercury as a part of the stable, although I think they'll have to repackage him completely because I doubt many still remember him (the really casual fans who probably started watching a year ago)

I could have swore I seen Armando Estrada at my gym about a year ago working out. I ate at a Babys Lemonade before (Im from Chicago) wonder why hes in Arizona and didnt realize it was a nationwide franchise.

Well maybe Estrada and Punk are friends. I do believe Estrada is from Chicago so they probabaly crossed paths before
