I don't think it was anymore serious than keeping the door open. I personally didn't find that comment to be problematic as an AEW fan. When her contract is over WWE is surely gonna still be an option. Up to AEW to make her love the place enough she stays.

but ya imo it was just being diplomatic and keeping the door open so she can still negotiate in the future. Maybe not the best choice of words from her but she also said Big Business and Big Mone like 20 times so it's nbd to me.

It’s like when Cody did an interview a few months back and said he wants to see MJF in WWE. It’s probably going to happen but as long as the talent is focused on the here and now and where they’re at, we’ll cross that bridge when we get there.

I’m a bit conflicted as far as the title situation goes because Mercedes and Jamie would be my favorite two women at that point and I would love to see them in a title match however I do think the story is with her taking the belt back from Toni.
