Sometime about 11 yrs ago my Mother had a Live Pine tree in the apartment at the time. We got rid of it within 2 days. Kept making some creepy noises. Popping and Chitters.

It was a livin' thing, probably wasn't too happy bein' rooted to be paraded into a house. I prefer artificial trees, it's also cheaper in the long run unless you cut down your own every year.

Artificial trees are MUCH Easier to clean up after.... in my opinion.
