So this just happened at around 4pm Sunday evening.... I'm too embarrassed to explain but I will anyways..
It's abit rainy and chillyhere in Ohio so I decided to use my Car to take out trash. (And the chicken sawdust was gonna be dumped somewhere wayout back) Our landlord keeps a dumpster out beside the barn and is next to a grass Driveway that goes clear back about 5 acres. With a Corn field (that's well been harvested) runs alongside the pathway. My lack of experiance thought it would be a good idea to try and drive my 1989 Buick Lesabre to the back to dump out the dirty sawdust. Well, I hadn't made it not even 80 feet from the dumpster when I realized "Oh Fudge, this isn't good".
I tried to back up slowly, didn't go anywhere. I pulled forward abit into the cornfield to try and gain some traction... and the corn field made my front end sink deeper Into the mud. At that point I started panicking trying to find objects and what not to help me out of the predicament. My Step dad wasn't too far away and decided to stop by the house with the "94" Jeep Cherokee.
Figured he'd try and pull me out but then he got stuck and wasn't able to even try and get my car hooked up. Had to call a tow truck. ....the tow truck ended up getting stuck as well. And needed to call the big Flat Bed Truck. Managed to pull out the tow truck, eventually, after about 4 hours of working on everything, Everyone was finally free. LESSON LEARNED. Front wheel drive vehicles DON'T Drive through mud very well. May have a pic or two I can share later.
