I wouldn't think that, on his radio show he seemed fairly skeptical about the whole Punk situation in general, leading to not believing he was coming back because of all the advertisements he's been pulled from for stuff after next RAW. Although, I fell asleep halfway through it and didn't catch the rest of it. He only really reports news when he's gotten confirmations from all of his sources in WWE (which are a lot apparently), and considering the majority of the time all of the confirmed reports come from him his strategy works fairly well. Don't get this Meltzer hate at all.

I honestly hope Punk hasn't forced his way into the Main Event over Daniel Bryan, it'll just make the fans completely turn on him. What a dick if he does too, yet somehow I still will probably be a mark for his even after protesting for Daniel Bryan to be in the Main Event. I feel like such a dirty hypocrite.

Well, we've seen nothing that suggests Bryan wants a match with either Batista or Orton or for the Championship at WrestleMania, so I don't see how Punk returning changes that. Whatever happens, Batista is walking out of New Orleans as Champ, unfortunately imo.

I doubt Batista could no-sell at all considering he'll most likely spend the majority of the match lying on the mat, since when was CM Punk an abuser of the ROH/PWG ways no-selling though?

That being said, I was actually starting to look forward to Orton/Batista. That will be a trainwreck of epically hilarious proportions... and this may actually be worse since it would be "a match". The fans have someone to kinda cheer for that isn't the guy we want in there. Punk fans are still butthurt about Night of Champions 2011. Find some way to turn this whole mess into a work like only CM Punk can (maybe not "pipebomb #3, but just him popping up and trolling Hunter) and use that to get Bryan in the title match.... then again, as Dolph's mentioned one day Bryan vs Hunter > Bryan jobbing in the title match. What a mess.

Either way, I'm not sold on him coming back until he does. And I hope to wind up sold tomorrow night. :win:

Regarding plans for WrestleMania XXX, if Punk does return at RAW he will either replace Daniel Bryan in the match with Triple H or go into the WWE World Heavyweight Title match with Batista and Randy Orton. Punk likely isn’t winning the title unless he plans on signing a new contract in July and that impression wasn’t given.

I really hope Punk is put in the Championship match and Bryan stays against Hunter. Punk dropping pipebombs on Tista and Randy is going to be so good.

I don't think Punk returning will change the result, that's not the point. The point is that he will make the match much better.
