Really? So people could have guessed the exact tournament brackets of an entire tournament, every single match? Or that a Cena/Wyatt match would be happening at WMXXX long before there was the slightest hint of it on-screen (and people
laughed at him for reporting that on account of how implausible they thought it to be)? Or backstage happenings that no one except those actually behind the scenes should know about?
A lot of the stuff he reports is common sense, but it's 'cause he has this slightly annoying habit of reporting nearly every little thing that he's hearing about from his sources (which can be forgiven, since it is technically his job and everything.) People who try to generalize three decades of work as if it's ALL he does are being silly and bias. But that pretty much sums up most of Dave's critics - They usually only know about the stuff that fellow forum goers post from The Observer, which is usually the things that people claim are already "common sense" but are really only a very small part of his work, and they judge him based completely off of that.
Also, of course anyone "with a connection to WWE" could do as well as he does. Having that type of connection would afford you with the exact same sources that he has.
