Though viewers will have gathered as much from this past Monday’s episode of Raw, there are plans for Melina to turn heel according to the Wrestling Observer.

WWE planted the seeds on Raw this week as the camera cut to Melina walking away as Lay-Cool beat down Natalya following their match.

It’s said that the heel turn will be a ‘slow burn’, resulting in her feuding with Natalya.

The Observer adds: “The idea was first talked about weeks ago and apparently she got heat because there were indications she was negative about it. They instead started a deal where she was going to get back with Morrison, but that was dropped after one week.â€￾

Melina could do with a heel turn seeing as she sucks as a face and has no direction at the moment. Hopefully when the Beth/Lay-Cool feud's done, we'll finally get Natalya vs Beth.

Good she really needs it as she has just been made generic as a face. When she first turned face they actually had something there but that didn't last long.

the crowd will never get behind her as a face again. at this point i think she's too ugly to be a babyface, i mean look at her face. the novelty of her splits worn off by now. who knows how she'd do as a heel, maybe ok, but i'd rather see beth and natalya going at it.

I'd rather Melina be a heel. She's better suited portraying a 'bitchy' type character

The notion of them actually giving a Diva as much attention as to have a "slow burn" is quite laughable.

I'd rather they turned John Morrison heel so he wouldn't have to cut those crappy, unfunny, babyface promos.

Funny, i just had the thought of Melina and Morrison re-uniting the other day. Shame that won't happen.

But i couldn't really care less for Melina. She's just uninteresting in general and whenever she's pushed its really shoved down our throats. If they are looking for a heel diva focus they should continue with Maryse or Alicia (i'd say LayCool, but they're still pretty over imo).
