As far as I'm concerned this is still just a rumor no official movie websites added this woman as the role of agent 007 in the next movie.

Rumor or not I'm still skipping it.
The Bond series is basically the same film 27 times...
and say what you want about the Godzilla franchise but
at least there are a few weird & different films in there.

I heard she will be 007, but Craig will still be James Bond and will be forced to come out of "retirement". If it adds to the story, great. If it's just there to pander to people who whine about stuff, then the movie will suffer.
Do you think in this culture they'll let a white man rescue a black woman, and she'll be so grateful for his help that she'll give back the 007 title to James? This is the end for Daniel Craig, and let's face it, this chick is the new 007 for all future films. Say farewell to Mr. Bond.
I hope it's rumour and that's not how it will play out. But Ghostbusters, Oceans, Terminator, see the CW trailer for Batwoman, The Mask...
She could die and he could be forced to go back to being 007.
