MATT MORGAN has become the first heavyweight champion of TNA's new Ring Ka King promotion in India.
Morgan defeated Scott Steiner in the final of an eight-man tournament to lift the strap after a hard-hitting battle.
Also on the card, TNA newcomers Chavo Guerrero and David Hart Smith became the first holders of the promotion's tag team title.
Steiner proved to be a very 'over' heel with the Indian fans and had the crowd at fever pitch with his antics during a six-man match that was taped this week.
Ring Ka King is proving to be a very successful venture for TNA and the project, managed by Jeff Jarrett, will see a number of TNA stars appear on regular TV shows and live events.
After the show, Jeremy Borash tweeted: "Great second day of TV in India just wrapped.
"Tonight's crowd was insane, most seeing wrestling for the first time. Enthusiasm off the charts.
"The most heel heat I've seen in 15 years tonight in India. This will be amazing TV. Congrats to the team. Forgot how fun this can be."
