Matt Hardy’s DWI Police Report Now Online: Disturbing Details

As reported earlier, former WWE and TNA wrestler Matt Hardy was arrested at the Raleigh-Durham International Airport once again this week in North Carolina and charged with DWI (Driving While Intoxicated).

TMZ.com has published the police report from Matt Hardy’s arrest and the details are disturbing to say the least.

Matt Hardy was at the airport on Monday afternoon when police received several phone calls from concerned drivers who said Matt’s car “almost hit two drivers three separate times.â€

When an airport police officer spotted Hardy, the wrestler’s car, “swerved into the curb and then back onto the road.â€

Once Hardy was pulled over, the officer claims Hardy was asked to step out of the vehicle. Matt proceeded to open his door and get out of the car – without putting the car in park. The police report reads, “The vehicle rolled forward and I yelled for him to put the vehicle in park.â€

Matt Hardy was observed to have “slow and slurred speech, sleepy eyes and a very lackadaisical demeanor.â€

Hardy was asked to walk in a straight line but – “after taking two steps, Mr. Hardy lost his balance and failed to stay on the line.†He was given a second chance but only made it “two or three steps†before failing to remain “heel-to-toe†and lost his balance again. Hardy took another field sobriety test where he had to stand on one leg. “He was unable to hold his leg up past 1 second.â€

Hardy took a breathalyzer test – which showed that he had zero alcohol in his system.

Cops then called in a “Drug Recognition Officer†to perform even more tests – and they determined Hardy was under the influence of “Central Nervous System depressants†and arrested him on the spot. Hardy’s blood was taken for drug testing – and those results are not in as of this writing.

Hardy is due back in court [for this offense] on November 30th.

Shortly after the arrest, Matt Hardy’s girlfriend Reby Sky tweeted, “F*ck this.â€

This guy needs serious help, I got a feeling Reby Sky will leave him because he's getting out of control. Does anybody still care for him? I have no hope for him at all.

I'm honestly worried for the guy. Being a ginormous Hardy mark, this highly concerns me, because if anybody I thought it would be Jeff fucking up this bad. In fact, I wouldn't even bat an eye if it said "Jeff" instead of "Matt" but since it's Matt, it highly concerns me because he always seemed to be the level-headed grounded person. I fear for Matt. I really do. I suspect, perhaps he is battling some severe depression. Matt needs help, bottom line. It might be too late to salvage his career, but he could still save his life. Jeff seems to be getting his life straightened out. Jeff needs to remember back to all the times Matt helped him through shit and return the favor before we have another Benoit on our hands.

TNA will be glad they fired him. Matt is an idiot for yet again getting in trouble with the police and this time it isn't alcohol but something worse it seems. He needs to go to rehab, he brags about how he has so much money so why not spend some of that money to get himself healthly once again.

OMFG....MATT HARDY ARRESTED AGAIN!!! Police found drugs in his house and locked him up. I don't know what the hell is going to happen but it's hitting even more lower than I can imagine.

Allen dude calm down. The drug search was done before Hardy decided to go to rehab. Most probably the police will make sure he sticks to his word and helps him out. He even admitted he was doing drugs in the rehab video.

Matt Hardy is a mess and he is in a lot of trouble. He has gone to rehab otherwise he would be in jail right now. This is going to be like Jeff where he is going to need some good lawyers to cut a deal for him to keep him out of jail.
