I'm not going to lie when I heard Hawkeye was getting a Show I wasn't going nuts for the News vs Wandavision or Loki but this was a solid Trailer to show us the environment we'll be seeing during the Show. I'm going to need Kate to give me more than what I saw in this Trailer outside of that rebel without a cause type of attitude. I know one thing Hawkeye will be getting some grey hairs dealing with that girl I imagine.

I heard rumors Vincent D’onofrio was returning as Kingpin so that’s what I’m most curious to see lol.

As for the show it looks pretty interesting. Wasn’t expecting it to have the tone it has but I like being surprised so no biggie. Can’t wait to see the dynamic between Clint and Bishop and I’m sure it’ll be emotional at the end when he finally passes the torch and retires.

Alright here we are with yet another marvel show. This time we get a street level story in Hawkeye. Luckily they released the first two episodes so we got to see quite a bit at the start.

what a great show. It’s amazing seeing Hawkeye just trying to be a dad but he can’t cause his past as Ronin is still catching up to him. Kate Bishop is already a super fun hero. This show is very lighthearted but it works super well. Jeremy Renner shines as Hawkeye but it’s Hailee Steinfeld that steals the show as Bishop and you can see why she was the only choice for the role. The two have great chemistry and this is most likely the beginning of a beautiful friendship. In addition the Christmas theme is used really well here. Overall it was a great first two episodes and I can’t wait to see where this adventure takes them.

4 episodes down and goddamn this may be my favorite marvel show yet. The relationship between Hawkeye and Kate is just so pure. Hawkeye gets so much fucking development and the humor is perfectly balanced with the darker moments. Can’t wait for the last two.

For those watching, how is the show violence-wise? So far Falcon / Winter Soldier probably was the most brutal one they did although it was still not as bloody as the Defenders' shows on Netflix.

It’s the least violent for sure because it’s street level. The fights are great though. A lot of martial arts and a one shot chase scene/arrows sequence in episode 3 that’s been talked about.

Yeah the car chase scene is the most violent scene in the show so far but that’s to be expected. Hawkeye is this down to earth dude with no powers. Can’t expect laser fights and things blowing up every 5 minutes.

That being said, I’m enjoying it more than I thought I would. As mentioned above, the dynamic between Clint and Kate is cute. They go back and forth the way you expect a father and daughter to.

The reveal at the end of episode 4 was expected if you saw “Black Widow” but I definitely think it’s Kingpin that hired her. And if they brought Vincent D’Onofrio back then :mark:

Yeah, the thing about this series that has me going is Vincent D'Onofrio coming back as Kingpin haha. Obviously, that's not a knock on Hawkeye and Kate, it's just that I fucking love Daredevil and I've been waiting for those characters to come back ever since the show was cancelled. And based on the tease in episode 3, I'm 99% sure he's coming back. Apparently, it's in episode 5 which is next week so fingers crossed.

That out of the way, I love the dynamic between Clint and Kate, Clint develops as a character way more than in the Avengers, and the overall storyline is compelling

Ok because I was wondering how Disney was going to pull off a teenage girl (I assume Kate Bishop is rather young) killing people with a bow.

I mean she’s 24 first of all :lol

second of all, Marvel has never really had violent deaths in their movies cause they gotta keep it PG 13

It's not about how graphic it is which I know it never will be in the MCU, it's just the idea/concept of a teenage girl killing people. But she's older than I thought.
