Marvel movies assemble!
On May 3, AMC Theaters will be screening all six Marvel movies in chronological order. The 12-hour-plus (!) marathon will include "Iron Man," "The Incredible Hulk," "Iron Man 2," "Thor" and "Captain America," capped off with the premiere of "The Avengers."
A few select theaters have already released tickets, with the rest going on sale March 16.
The marathon is reminiscent of what AMC did for the "Harry Potter" franchise last July, when the theater chain screened each "Potter" flick at select theaters across the country before the "Deathly Hallows, Part II," the final film in the series. However, that event was stretched out over a five-day period; the Marvel gig is going to be a day-long endurance test.
Hopefully that Iron Man suit you bought for the "Avengers" premiere came with built in seat cushions.
As cool as that sounds. I don't think I could sit in a theater that long...............well maybe I could.
