I meant critically speaking. The Disney+ series and most of the last movies were shat on. I don't think the MCU's popularity has ever been that low. They lost all their big names : Steve Rogers is gone and people don't give a crap about Sam, Stark is gone, Widow is gone, Hawkeye retired, Thor is pretty much cooked after that god awful last movie... And who do they have left ? Kate Bishopp, Ms Marvel, Shuri, Captain Falcon, lolEcho and maybe Shang Chi ?
They're at a point where they're counting on 20th Century Fox's Deadpool and Logan to make a profit. It's going to big a huge success but it'll be followed by..... fucking Agatha Harkness.



But if we want to talk about money, The Marvels was the biggest MCU flop in history. Quantumania didn't break even either.

I would say Marvel turning the right corner happens if the new Captain America: Brave New World film makes money. They need these smaller films to hit for the fandom to want and pay for a new Avengers film down the road.

But that new Captain America is the most expensive movie Marvel have ever produced.

With the reshoots, it's now around 375M$, it has surpassed Endgame's budget of 356M$. They're counting on black history month to help with the tickets sales.
