Captain America the winter soldier is literally my number 1 lmao so I don’t agree with this list at all. Black Panther at 23 is also a head scratcher.
It was "too woke" if I had to guess

:zayn2 Controversy creates cash.

But I'm not sure why you would assume that @Chris Kringle . I thought the whole African setting with a mix of technology and ancestral traditions was a brilliant idea for Black Panther. I just didn't like how generic the plot was, and the lack of truly spectacular action except maybe that one shot fight in the casino. And they did Klaw dirty.
Also yeah I enjoyed Wasp very much because it was a much needed lighter-hearted movie after the snap trauma.

But that's enough to put it at 23? :lol

I thought they created such a beautiful world with Wakanda, Killmonger was a great villain, the whole ancestral plane stuff and being able to talk to the deceased was great. T'Challa needing to compete without the Black Panther powers in ritual combat was also great and I really enjoyed those fights. And you can complain about Klaw but the main villain (Killmonger) was great. Klaw was never supposed to be more than a secondary villain. And he wasn't that bad. Andy Serkis was brilliant and he had some great lines. Yeah, he was killed off but oh well.

And the acting :mjcry

Cause you didn't like that the Vikings show had black people in it mostly but it was just some ribbing anyway even if you really did think it was too woke lmao fair enough complaints too I'd say, I disagree on the action but plot was pretty basic and I remember there being some pretty questionable CGI as well. It would probably be around middle of the pack for me if I ranked them, possibly closer on the bottom half even

Tbh you gotta look at the movie as a whole. I don't get how questionable CGI ruins a movie that has a great story, script, production design, and acting. If you have other problems that's fine but the "bad CGI" excuse it so overused at this point lol

Because I think it's Blue to try and please everyone in spite of historical accuracy. But I've been proven wrong about the existence of black Vikings and I'm fine with it now. But I have no problem admitting I'm not ok with the BBC movi about Anne Boleyn with a black actress. I would be pretty puzzled if they made a Martin Luther king movie with Ryan Gosling in the main role for example.

Yes, I enjoyed the 22 other movies better than this one. It's a matter of personal choice. I respect people who put it in their MCU top 3. I'd like them to do the same with me. But to be honest I think you and I don't really see alike on a lot of things and maybe we should just not waste time on debating.

It's actually interesting to see how people see your takes on things, I don't mind. That means I have to pick my words more carefully I guess, I really don't want to give the wrong impression. I like to see myself as a very open person and I would hate people think otherwise. I just believe that the acceptance / representation thing has its limits.
We are humans. We see colors, shapes etc above all. If a famous character was black, have a black actor play them. Same thing goes with all nationalities.

Bottom half is still pretty low lmao but fair enough. For me it'd be top 10 but I'm not gonna rank every movie :lol

Yeah but when you're a fan of all the marvel movies it's like Sophie's choice picking a least favorite :draper2 something has to be bottom half lmao
