Anyway, great result, given ourselves a real chance at home now. Rooney flopped on the big stage, Phil Jones and Kagawa impressed me. Van Persie looked dangerous and skilful all game, Welback was the MOTM for me though with De Gea.

If I were Fergie I'd almost be tempted to take RVP off with him being on a booking. He can put Rooney up top and have RVP safe for the next round - I don't think you need another goal anyway.

Baffled by the amount of people here expecting a 4-1+ scoreline etc. We still have arguably the best attacking force in Europe at the moment (disregarding Messi and Ronaldo). I'm predicting that at Old Trafford the game will be reversed. That scares me, as Real Madrid are THE best counter-attacking team world wide. I think Sir Alex is smart enough to not fall into that trap however. God I love this tie, it's such a shame that it is in the last 16 and not the semi's or final or something.

Great match.Poor outcome . I went yesterday to the bernabeu and trust me It was awesome ! However , that wasnt a good result for Madrid ! Dont blame me but we deserved more !

Well maybe here in Spain we have a different style of playing. As the news said today , Varane and RVP deserved a red card + here in spain we consider that "tackle" and fault , in England you dont consider it fault is just ways of playing .
