You forgot her match against Brea Presley, lol...oh wait that happened on Twitter and they never fought. Nah, in reality she was one the joshis that paved the way for what it would eventually come to be. Just like Jaguar, I'll post a top five in a day or so, and discuss more about her.

Love love love love, she was my first real introduction to Joshi wrestling (other than watching stuff like Bull Nakano's WWF matches) and I fucking loved her instantly. I rank her as my top all time women's wrestler still to this day

Toyota doesn't need to boast about how she handled her business in her career just watch her Matches and you'll find out why people consider her one of the best of all time. Akira Hokuto is still my fav from that era, but if I had to give a 1A Toyota would fit. I won a Poster and Towel Months after her Retirement signed by her and it's like Gold to me.

MANAMI TOYOTA HOSPITALIZED (Shoulder Surgery)

Manami Toyota, the greatest female in-ring pro wrestler of all time, has been in the hospital for the last few days after having another shoulder surgery. She had reconstructive shoulder surgery back in 2003 which required several bolts to fix the damage. She continued to wrestle afterward until her retirement on November 3, 2017.

The constant pain in her shoulder and neck were the major factors in her decision to retire during her milestone 30th anniversary as a pro wrestling.

She did make a guest appearance in Tequila Saya's retirement show Gaunlet Match on 12/31/19, losing to Saya in under a minute.

Toyota has remained close to the Ice Ribbon promotion. She gave Tsukasa Fujimoto her approval to use the Japanese Ocean Cyclone Suplex as one of her finishing moves.

She also gave CIMA permission as well, and this don't surprise Old School Joshi matches were brutal and she never really slowed down, like most. Hope she recovers okay.
