ASTORIA, NY (PIX11)— Police are looking for a pervert with a foot fetish, who recently attacked a child in an Astoria library.

On Tuesday, Aug. 9, the twisted podophiliac cornered a girl who was alone in an Astoria library. Police say the suspect grabbed the girl, tore off the child's shoes and began rubbing the victim's feet and placing them on his face.

"I urge all parents and children to be on alert and to report any sightings to the NYPD as soon as possible," said Councilmember Peter Vallone. The attack took place around 2 p.m. at the Queens Borough Library on 31st St. between Ditmas and 21st Ave.
