Make WWE Raw Great Again!

It has been a long time since I watched a full episode of Raw. I think it has been since the end of 2013 that I actually made it through a full show. Not that I am saying NO Raws have been good since then, but let's be fair here... Few have been an 8 or higher for most and considering it is on once a week, that is bad. I don't expect every week to be a 10/10 show but I expect it to at least hold my interest and it has failed.

I took over a year off from following anything pertaining to WWE in 2015. I didn't follow it much at all. I didn't even watch PPVs. I wasn't sure what changed from 2009 when I was watching every week to the beginning of 2015 when I just said forget it. No need to tell me what I missed in that year's time. I know the gist of it. Then it began to sink in the more I said it... It sank it more and more with every horrible attempt at a TV series they made... All the shows to watch on the Network...It is just too much.

Raw should not be 3 hours, period. Most of us can agree that is the biggest issue with it right now and a huge reason why so many of the shows have been bad this year. It wasn't all sunshine and rainbows when I watched in back in 2009 but dang it, I actually paid attention! Not only is Raw 3 hours... We have SmackDown on for 2 hours plus NXT... And because none of us have lives at all... TWO PPV's A MONTH!

I wanted to make this thread so you all can share your thoughts on the topic that we all seem to end up on every few months when we only see minor improvements. Do you believe Raw would be better if it were only on 2 hours a week? Would you be more inclined to watch?

In the off chance someone at WWE sees this, we have lives, jobs, school, friends, ect... You are expecting too much of your fans and not even giving us quality shows. How bout we make WWE Raw great again? WE WANT A 2 HOUR SHOW BACK!

3 hrs or 2 I've still been watching RAW just about every week for the last 17 years. Honestly removing an hour of the show probably won't help in the long run, the problem lies in the format and writing of the show. The writer/bookers for the red brand just can't seem to book a three hour show with substantial content and they rarely if ever change up their format. Not every show needs to start off with a 15-20 minute promo or have 3-4 segments featuring the authority figures. No need for throw away matches, no more PPV match-ups on the go home show. The first post-brand split RAW was a great example of time management and storytelling, why couldn't we keep that up!?

Well, I like that it is 3 hours long (I'm A Wrestling Fan!) Like Botchie said its the writing and format of the show......................I think WWE should trust their top guys more and give them more control of their own character and dialogue.

Its not the 3 hours...its the writing...which I personally think
is getting worse by the week.

Besides the Women's Division I really don't care about anything
else RAW has going on...and even then there is hardly any variety.

Bayley is being wasted, Dana Brooke seems to be getting worse
by the week, Nia Jax and Alicia Fox are currently M.I.A...And for
God's sake just put Emma back on TV already...my patience is wearing thin!

In fact bring Billie Kay up from NXT as well...More Aussies!

Now hopefully this improves after Hell in a Cell once the Charlotte/Sasha
feud is over...but...wait...I'm ranting off topic.

RAW needs better story lines, character development that matters
and some new talent to shake things up.

Perhaps let Gallows & Anderson win a few matches...
Push Big Cass & Big E in the singles division...
Push Cesaro...put him in a feud with Rusev or Reigns...
Show us more than 3 Cruiserweights...
Let Kevin Owens stand alone as a heel champion...
& Perhaps have Bork Laser actually wrestle on RAW...

I couldn't really vote on this, as none of the choices really described how I felt. I want Raw to be two hours, but more often than not, I still watch Raw in its long form. I've been watching Raw since it's very first episode and except for a short hiatus during the Attitude Era, it's been a major part of my life every since.

Now, I would enjoy it more if it were two rather than three hours. I'd find myself getting hyped for it more often. But I'll probably watch it no matter what.

MAKE IT A 2 HOUR SHOW AGAIN, DAMMIT!

Granted, shit segments/matches/storylines on a 2 hour show are still shit. But, damn it, they are a lot more bearable 'cause 3 hours of RAW is simply too much.

More often than not, it makes RAW a bloody chore to watch.

Now... Will RAW ever go back to the 2 hour format? Unfortunately, it's probably never going to happen.

It makes the WWE and the USA Network some good dough.

So, just because the fans are pissed that RAW is still a 3 hour show is not going to make WWE revert it to being 2 hours again.

Simple as that.

The two-hour format has done wonders for Smackdown Live and while it won't guarantee every episode will be great, it will be a great improvement.
