-- Rob Van Dam was a guest on The LAW Sunday night with Dan "The Mouth" Lovranski and Jason Agnew on Sirius 98 Hardcore Sports Radio. During the interview, Van Dam talked about a number of topics, including RVD TV, Chris Masters returning to WWE, Tommy Dreamer winning the ECW title and more. While he did talk about enjoying his time away from the wrestling business, it's interesting to note that during the interview, he revealed that TNA Wrestling has been in "constant contact" with him as recently as this past week.

This could be good IF HE WAS USED PROPERLY

I was listening to the show and this report is purposly written to give TNA fanboys wet dreams. If you listened to the show Rob explains he has no intrest in wrestling for a company right now and has no intrest in returning to the WWE or joining TNA right now. He said he could care less if he never wrestled again. He also talked about getting calls from the WWE, but not as frequently as TNA. He prefers the one time appearences when there is something in it for him (ie he did a show for some indy company because they not only paid to bring him in for the show but for his wife to join him and stay for a week after and have a nice vacation) or if its local (hense the Royal Rumble appearence) So don't expect RVD to be joining TNA anytime soon.

If TNA picks up Kennedy, Umaga, and now RVD, that'd be massive. They could have the potential for a good product. I'm not a TNA fan, but it'd be great to see RVD on TV...
Edit: After what TG posted... Guess not.

^^Proof of how badly that report is written. People read it and assume its only a matter of time before RVD joins, but they purposly left out the important information where RVD basically says, he has no reason desire or need to go there. I mean I know never say never, but if RVD hasn't joined them yet, I think he's pretty serious about not carring about ever wrestling again. lol

...he also said that so does the WWE.

He also said that he still doesn't want to come back

Yeah, I wouldn't expect RVD in TNA anytime soon if ever. He has said in the past that if he ever does return somewhere down the track he would prefer WWE. I read that somewhere a while ago. But still I'm not banking on him vere returning... at least not for a good while.

Fuck him going to TNA, they would book him poorly. He should just go back to WWE, he seems interested in coming back and WWE need all the Main Eventers/Over wrestlers they can get cause they have alot of guys out atm, RVD returning would draw alot of people back to watching imo.

yeah he said he is only doing very selective international bookings and that his career as an actor is really catching his interest.

I've been waiting for this report to pop back up for a couple of years now.

I've always wanted to see RVD vs. AJ. Hopefully RVD regains his passion and I get that chance.

RVD is out of shape and not fit to compete. After seeing him in this year's Royal Rumble, his performance was vague and he look bloody lame and his pace was really slower than ever. I dont think seeing him wrestle again would benefit his legacy in any way. He better not wrestle again and tbh; going to TNA will just make his situation worse as a TNA contract = downfall for any star.
so if he really wants to sign a contract then, WWE or STFU!

He's lost his passion for the business and he just doesn't care anymore. TNA doesn't need someone like that, fuck him

The title said MAJOR STAR, lol, RVD is no major star, never was, popular yes, upper mid carder yes, true legitimate main eventer no, superstar no. He was good for what he was, innovative and his 5 to 7 constant moves throughout every single match and his not having the stamina to compete full on in a match longer than 10 minutes says he would do GREAT in TNA, that's where all the has been washed ups go. Still shows more in the interview that he doesn't even find any interest in joining any organization so blah, meaningless thread.

^ Rvd's can be a true main eventer if he's booked right. RVD is a major star also. Anybody could be a true main eventer if they're booked right. I agree with WS for RVD is not in his best shape, but I'm pretty sure he might be able to wrestle again for an ok length before he gets into better shape. But there is the problem with him not wanting to wrestle again, or atleast, for now. I guess we'll see how this plays out.......
