MLW AZTECA #4:
- Arez vs. Extreme Tigre - this could shape up to be a great match. And it proved to be a high speed lucha libre classico and a great way to kick off this episode. A bit of slow counting from the referee - but this fitting of the Mexican wrestling scene, where referees are corruptible.
- 5150 vs. Von Erich - sounds dope. These weird screen effects though for that segment was just annoying and an eye sore and didn't bring anything extra to the table.
- AAA Mega Championship match! Now that is just D-O-P-E - dope! El Hijo del Vikingo is my boy and I will be wanting him to retain, but Aramis is great guy on the rise. MLW have pulled of a coup - getting this match to feature during one of their episodes. The match fucking awesome - but if it had last 15 more minutes it would have been rated much higher by me. I understand the need for Arez to interfere with the distraction though, as it allows for MLW to be able to build up a feud in the future. Man Vikingo is something else though!
- Nduka has got the world ahead of him.
- 'The Black Hand' Mads Krugger is just a great character - love the development.
- The third version of Octagon, Jr vs. HAMMER. With Kalisto and Flamita wearing the mask, this third version has quite the legacy to maintain. Was great in his Trios title reign - but not seen him in a singles match yet.
- The match is a slow burn - but then all the Azteca Henchman are appearing on the stage. WTF is going to happen next?
- I would say out of the three matches, that was the worst of the night - but still above average.
- The Henchman being sent to the ring after the contest was a great thing to do. Richard coming out from the back and the episode ending with brawl in the ring.
- Honestly, one of the better episodes I seen in the well - all carried by the luchadores though
