I think creating mafia links and cross-forums hosting threads, is always a great idea. The function of the forum that aren't mafia are generally all different, so its not even like members are being stolen.

I mean, yeah. As long as they’re like specifically mafia forums, I’m not as worried about losing members to them, because like I said, most members here do more than Mafia. The only exceptions would be I wouldn’t want wrestling sports or entertainment forums that have a mafia section necessarily advertise here, because that would be more of a competitor, but I’d always be willing to talk to someone from there and just figure it out.

Like I've suggested talking to forum owners, rather than players is the way to look at it.

I just meant as far as playing or hosting somewhere else. I don’t really want to do it somewhere that might have a lot of members that have beef with me from here. I had my fill of the drama here I don’t really want to get it anywhere else you know what I mean.

i think all beefs can be reduced over time - and i think the volume always seems larger than it actually is. most mafia players, more interested in just playing without grief than anything else.

As someone that personally wants to squash all beefs because I hate carrying it, I’d like to believe so but there are a couple of gentlemen that haven’t played here in ages that are having a grand time mocking the new mafia head thread.

But yeah, I’ll see about those other sections.

i would say, if you run out fingers counting people, the situation is probably problematic. But even in the range of have five people - its not too bad. Im sure if I thought about it there is five people on WS that I'd rather avoid

If you can’t get along with someone and can’t squash it, no shame in avoiding or ignoring that player. Just don’t hold on weird energy where you’re still beefing a year later. That would be my suggestion.

That said, I’m looking forward to healing with new moderation rules, bridging the gap between WS and WC mafia and bringing new players from WG or wherever else. Let’s just play mafia.

I can’t go back to check as they took it offline, but I believe so. They definitely finished a game just before their closed down.

There’s at least 12-18 players from there we can get to play here, hopefully.

The WC mafia section probably had 2 games a month and filled them between 10 and 20 people. As for a mafia mod, I'm pretty sure there wasn't one. We'd just play and didn't really have much to moderate within the games.

I believe Shawn was the mod there.

He’s currently talking to me about reprising his role.

And yeah, two games a month would be perfect.
