We should have a defined roles - section:

More so - that people understand exactly what each role actually is. Rather than it being left to the interpreted by the host. This way - custom roles, can later become Cannon roles perhaps in other people's games etc.

This stems from my game - but also for like this past game. When I was Doctor - but I was referred to as BG and also Nurse.

For me - a doctor, can just prevent someone from being killed - if they are on them.

Whilst - a bodyguard/bg - actually gets killed instead of the person. If the person is targetted for a kill.

Whilst - a nurse is normally a VT/not always who acts as a backup Doctor, only when the Doctor is dead.

Just food for thought.

The host just needs to ensure the role is written in a way that is very clear and cannot be confused. Every player should know exactly what their role is and what it does by the way the PM is worded.

We tried to do something similar on WF back in the day, but we kinda abandoned it cause it’s just too restrictive on any one hosts individual creativity

Entirely hosts' discretion, if those are the roles and/or mechanics you want in your game it's your call

It's not baiting. It's asking why a very obvious and noticeable change has been made out of the blue to the running of the section that I am a part of.

I thought it'd be fair game to ask, since it seemed the mods were attempting to be transparent about the running of this with the huge thread on the "who's who" of the four layer hierarchy here.
