Makes a lot of sense to interview her for the Monday Night Wars show. Good to see that this was what she was there for and not for a potential match. Would this be the first time that she has talked to WWE since she left in 95/96?

I believe so, at least any form where we could find out about it. I don't even think she has an alumni profile on their site.

Can't say I understand WWE's decision to contact a former traitor to the company. That makes absolutely zero sense in every way imaginable.

I could see WWE making an exception if said traitor was actually a legend or a prominent name in the business, but she's anything but that. And let's not kid ourselves, she MIGHT have reached that level eventually if she had stuck with WWE instead of high-tailing it to WCW and dunking the Womens Championship in the garbage on Nitro, but hardly any wrestling fans today even remember that, and most everyone who does doesn't give a damn anymore.

So I would really like for WWE to explain the upside to this, because I don't see it. It's not like she's going to run off to TNA with another title and do the same thing again, but generally employers do not rehire employees after demonstrating such treachery. Their best bet would be to bring her in under a completely new persona and make little to no mention of her previous stint in WWE, but that would defeat the purpose of bringing her back entirely.

She might be in the crowd like Shane Douglas was at Raw, but I cant see what would interest WWE in bringing her back.

Not as if shes Trish Stratus or Sunny, she wasnt even famous in her heyday.

- Former Women's Champion Debra "Madusa" Miceli posted a photo of one of her WWE royalty checks on Facebook last night. She since deleted the post but the photo remains. The photo shows that WWE recently paid Madusa $305,563.46 in royalties. It provides an interesting look at how WWE pays past performers.

The breakdown looks like this:

* She was paid $39,921.21 under a "Direct Video" category for her appearance in what appears to be WWE's Top 50 Most Shocking Moments DVD.

* WWE paid her $171,431.78 under the "Video" category for her appearance on the Greatest Superstars of the 90's DVD.

* Under the same category, WWE paid her $81,014.78 and $9,891.90 more for the "Most Shocking" DVD.

* Madusa was paid $3,303.79 for her appearance on the WrestleMania Box Set.

The check from WWE indicates that she was paid the $305,563.46 for a time period of October 1st, 2011 to December 31st 2011.

Still have no idea why she was even mentioned in that "Greatest Stars of the 90's" dvd. And even more clueless how she racked up $171 Large from the 1 minute she was on the documentary. That's fucked up, but admittedly pretty impressive.

I wasn't ever really a big fan of Madusa, she never did it for me in her prime and I highly doubt she'd do it for me now. That being said, it would make sense if she was contacted for a Legends contract or to be a part of the WWE Network. If that's the case then I'm fine, but there are far better women wrestlers out there past and present that they could choose over her.

For what would amount to 10 minutes total of screen time. 300 thou.

I wonder what people like The Rock, Triple H or Austin make off this stuff.

Yeah, I wish I ever work for the WWE. LMAO. And the rumor is that Lesnar' recent contract with WWE for 1 year is $5 million alone with the dates (not inc. merch, dvds, etc). Good way for him to return before his stock goes down.

That really is a hefty check, hell I bet she could care less what WWE wants to do with her when she's getting checks like that... SHIT!
