Am I the only one who has been noticing this lately? How a lot of younger talent are getting showcased regularly in the upper card now, instead of it being like it was in 2012 when it consisted of Punk, Cena, Del Rio, Big Show and Kane with Bryan getting a semi rub through feuding with Punk. Now we have the shield, Real Americans (via run ins and matches with Cena), Usos, Super Rhodes bros and the Wyatt's all being showcased in the main event alongside established guys like Orton, Bryan, Punk and Mysterio and more. They aren't pushed straight in but rather tested out, giving multiple smaller rubs rather than one major and expecting to flop. Seemingly getting the crowds more used to these guys hanging around in that scene/on that level.
Am I the only one seeing this and enjoying this? They might not be guaranteed to create new top stars out of this but they are creating believable cornerstones, establishing some depth in the on screen roster. IMO at least.
