That double underhook move he used was amazing.

OP is a joke.

There was nothing wrong with him or that match. Just because he's a little big and is 39 years old doesn't mean a damn thing. I liked his debut, even if it was just a squash match (unfortunately against Riley) and I'm glad to see others enjoyed it too.

Interested to see what he can do in a proper match. So far a surprising but solid signing by the WWE.

I thought that it was a good debut. I like the whole character and the entrance was cool, I also didn't mind that Cole mentioned that he was a former WWE superstar because he explained why he changed. It would have been worse if WWE ignored the fans chants and tried to pretend that A-Train and Lord Tensai were two different people. I was surprised to see him face Riley since Riley is a reasonably big guy rather than facing someone a lot smaller that can be a bump machine for him. Still, impressive debut and I look forward to seeing what he does next week.

Personally I really enjoyed it. His entrance gear was great and looked rather menacing and the stuff we saw in the ring was fine. Would have probably prefered to see him face someone who could have actually been over unlike Riley though. I have no problems with them acknowledging his past in the WWE, although I feel as they could have just mentioned that then spread the rest out over the coming weeks.

I enjoyed his return too. I'm sure we'll be seeing more squash matches in the next few weeks, leading to hopefully a potential feud with whoever.

Everything about him reminds me of Umaga, and thats not a bad thing either.

I thought his match was pretty boring.

Haven't seen the claw since Kerry Von Erich's whore daughter was in TNA. Great stuff.

The entrance is just a bit too slow (but its his debut so who cares) but he is menacing as fuck and every move looked scary. Sick finisher too. I'd say Tensai's debut was a hit.

He has a pretty good moveset though. I always loved his finisher, the double underhook move he came up with was sick but the claw didn't really look good to me. Mah, he just catched his face.

BTW, am I the only who thinks that Tensai pretty failed that Senton? I mean, he is supposed to roll a bit, not just jump on top of his opponent and do a back somersault.

Yeah, I noticed how well he managed to play off a couple of moments that looked like botches, like the double underhook and the senton. Like, he never panicked or broke his expression, as if he meant to do that.

Then again I could just be seeing botches where there weren't and Tensai just knows how to make everything look devastating.

There was a lot of pressure on his shoulder since this was his re-debuted so I understand him.

Considering the style of wrestling he's accustomed to in Japan is black and white different than WWE's, I'm not holding a couple of botches against him. And it's not like his opponent really needed any chemistry with him either considering it was a straight up old-school squash match.

I hope they use him like Umaga. I miss having a big credible guy around that isn't the Big Show.

I like how he showed off a lot of moves. I just hope those aren't all of them.

I hope they don't. Umaga was good for a short while, then the novelty wore off. I'd much rather see him as a guy that can work back and forth matches tbh.

Umaga was an incredible worker and had some excellent matches during his run near the top. His work with Cena at the Royal Rumble in their Last Man Standing match was incredible and in my opinion was one of the best matches in WWE in 2007. If Lord Tensai can produce something similar to Umaga then we are in for some excellent matches and it will be a good run.

*Contains RAW Spoilers*

Lord Tensai wrestled Alex Riley and Yoshi Tatsu in his first two matches but this week on RAW he got a much biggest test in facing John Cena. He was made to look strong out there and managed to defeat Cena thanks to a little bit of help from his worshipper and Otunga. But even with that he held his own against Cena so to me it shows that we may see him near the mainevent in the future.

The question I posed in the RAW thread was who can he face next? Cena is busy with Lesnar and Punk with Jericho. I can't see them dropping him back down to facing jobbers on RAW a week after he beat Cena so what wrestler would you have him feud with?
