Hello everyone. It's me. Your fav. I figured since it was mentioned in the intro someone should throw up some commentators, I should point out that I'm not claiming any of the spots at the announce table; I'm just throwing some candidates in there that Tommy can pick at his pleasure, So if anyone else has a concept, please don't be shy, with that being said here are two candidates for play by play and colour

Wrestler Sign-Up Template
Name: Lance Decker
Height: 6ft 0ins
Weight: 240 ibs
Pic Base Jim Ross

Age/DOB: 64

Bio: To most people, the voice of LCW, an announcer who has been with the company since the 70s and was a highly regarded vet and close personal friend of Blackjack Bedlam and was hugely respected for his ability to help change the story in the ring and relay information to the audience, so it was a massive shock to fans when he was fired. You see in later years, fans noticed a change in him, or rather to his commentary....To put it bluntly- Lance Decker believed he was abducted by Aliens. And he always seemed to find a way to slip that into commentary whenever possible to the point where he'd ignore full-on matches going on to talk about aliens; after a while of this, the deeply unpopular decision was made to replace him with-

Name: Ryan Wayne
Height: 5ft 9ins
Weight: 143 ibs
Pic Base: Josh Matthews

Age/DOB: 41
Alignment Face

A competent if generic, announcer employed since Lance Decker was fired; fun fact this is his side gig; he's actually a world-class baker, which has allowed LCW to boast about the fact their backstage catering is the best in the world...His commentary as a whole is...FINE, he's not terrible; the problem is. However, he's not Lance Decker, and being the replacement of a beloved legend was always going to be a hard job throw in his generic demeanour and lack of a southern drawl, and he's truly HATED by the LCW fan base,

So basically, for a lead announcer, LCW management gets to pick between A beloved legend whose possibly insane and could potentially ruin the show or a safe bet that the fans are going to hate.
-----------------------

Name: Danny G. Willikers
Height: 5ft 7ns
Weight: 140 ibs
Pic Base:
Macaulay Culkin

Age/DOB: 41

Danny G. Wilikers, a former child actor from the hit 90's sitcom 'That's Not My Uncle!' What's the plot of the show? Well, I'm glad you asked, it's starred Danny as a little boy named "Randy" who is on a quest to find his uncle, only problem is, the evil wizard Alan Smith placed a curse on him so that everyone in the world looks like his uncle. And every week he has to decide if the person he's meeting is in fact his uncle or say "THAT'S NOT MY UNCLE" Wilikers entertained thousands of families across the nation with his childlike wonder and catchphrase of 'Gee Wilikers', but was written out of the show in season 9 due to a horrific growth spurt during puberty. After a decade of drug and celebrity-fueled infamy, including starting his own cult, denouncing the notion of math in a drunken podcast, and distancing himself from his child actor career by adopting the name 'Great' Googly Moogly for an ill-fated rap attempt, before quietly dropping it and going back to his old name, Wilikers got his shit together for the reboot of 'That's Not My Uncle!' in hopes that he can get back on that gravy train. While his agent is in communications with the showrunners to get him a spot on the show, perhaps this time as the eponymous Uncle, Wilikers has loaned his talents to as many places that'll have him in an effort to cash in on the old 'Gee Wilikers' catchphrase. This makes him perfect as a colour commentator. Somehow.

*This is a Krash idea, that he threw out to me, that I absolutely loved. I doubt he was going to post it, so I'd do the honours. I had to do it. Don't judge me. I feel you judge me; stop it.*

Name: "Gentleman" Jim King
Height: 6ft 2ns
Weight: 240 ibs
Pic Base: Richard Parliment
Age/DOB: 38

An Englishman living in the US, he plays up the role of an over-the-top pompous British Gentleman, complete with monocle, top hat and walking cane. If you believe the dirt sheets, the buzz around "Gentleman" Jim from LCW management was that he was going to be a big deal. It wasn't hard to see why with a unique look and a vibe that the LCW fans LOVED to hate, it seemed like the sky was the limit for the self-professed "Prime Minister of Beat downs" However, tragedy struck when a tragic Polo accident pretty much ended his in-ring career. Despite that setback, LCW had kept him on board and used him primarily as a manager for a number of years, but in the final days of LCW, he was being phased out of that role and into the commentary booth. Will naturally support anything a heel does and act APPALLED should a face dare do anything against his favourites; his signature spot appears to be when something particularly shocking happens, he drops his cup of tea, which shatters for dramatic effect (Oh right, yeah at all time Jim has a cup of tea and porcelain teapot next to the commentary booth.

Name: "The Texas Dragon" Tadamasa Yamada
Height 5ft 9ins
Weight: 189 ibs
Pic Base: Tajiri

Age/DOB: 43
Alignment: Face

If you took odds on Tadamasa Yamada becoming a legend for LCW, you'd probably be a millionaire; back in his homeland of Japan, he looked nothing special, skinny shy, lacking any real fire, he appeared to be just another bland junior heavyweight in a sea of them. With nothing else to do with him, SPJ sent him on an excursion to LCW for what they claimed to be experience but was generally considered to be going there to die; this, after all, was deep south wrestling in the 90s, where burly guys in blank trunks punching each other and "Rastling" ruled. This was a culture clash doomed to fail, but regardless he was quickly paired with the House of Handsome to play the tired gimmick of "I'm from another country boo, hiss" essentially being used as enhancement talent for a few months before he was sent packing. Open and shut case, right?

Wrong! Yamada was an utter groundbreaking revelation; his fast-paced cruiserweight style and lighting fast, stiff strikes blew the minds of the casual texas wrestling fan who was used to slow-paced "Rastling" and rather than booing him, Yamada quickly became one of the most popular guys on the show, quickly rising up the card at a rapid rape, one of the biggest pops in LCW history was when he finally stood up to the House Of Handsome and kicked The Handsome Stranger in the face. The only pop bigger than that? The cheer that went up when he pinned The Handsome Stranger to win the world title. What was meant to be something that was supposed to last a few months ended up with Yamada becoming a figurehead for the company during the late 90s early 00s putting on some of the most exciting matches the fed has ever seen and winning all the major championships, but more then that, he started a culture shift in LCW that made them distinct from every other wrestling company in the south, where LCW shifted towards more athletic and fast-paced action.

The fans loved Yamada, and in return? Yamada loved the fans, even when he returned back to his homeland to take a contract in NWAJP, he always considered LCW his "home", changing his nickname from the "Dragon" to "The Texas Dragon", billing himself from "Austin Texas by way of Tokyo Japan" and often coming to the ring in a Dallas Texas shirt and when the reunion show was announced? All the LCW fans knew it was time for the dragon to come home.

Wrestling Style: Times have changed in the wrestling world; like everything in wrestling, junior heavyweights have evolved, becoming a lot faster and more spectacular. Because of this Yamada's move set isn't as jaw-dropping as it was in 2002, and he's a little past his prime, but he's still able to pull off all the spots and stunts he made famous in his hay day. He's known and feared for his strike-based offence, particularly his kicks, trained in Muay Thai and kickboxing. Despite his age, his kicks are still among the most lethal in the game. An opponent could be in total control, having Yamada in an arm lock, at ease, and-POW POW POW. 1.2.3. Done. As Lance Decker said, "That boy got machine guns for legs...I wish I had something like that when those aliens came for me."

Moveset (3-5 moves that your wrestler likes to use)
-Asai Moonsault
-Handspring back elbow, sometimes with both elbows on two opponents or springboarding his legs against the ropes where the opponent is standing on the apron
-Bridging German Suplex
-Bridging Dragon Suplex
-Shinning Wizard, sometimes while rebounding against the ring ropes
-Flip- over DDT
-Moonsault
-Diamond Dust
-Roundhouse kick.
-Shoot Kick
-Superkick
-Roaring Elbow
-Multiple punches and shoot kicks to the opponent's legs ending with either a spinning heel kick or a roundhouse kick to the back of the leg
-450 splash
-Rolling Cutter

Finisher (1-2 finishing moves)
Dragon's Breath Kick-High Speed roundhouse kick to a seated, kneeling, or rising opponent.
Dragon's Bite- A modified version of the above move, usually used in big match situations or he just wants to make sure, he does TWO kicks and then follows it up with a low front dropkick

Attire: See Above

(Ok, last one, I swear)

Name: "The Unstoppable" Tai
Height 6ft 2ins
Weight: 225 ibs
Pic Base: Tamina
Age: 31
Alignment: Heel

While "The Unstoppable" Tai might be only a rookie and only been in the company for a year before it closed its doors, you can argue that she has one of the strongest linages in LCW. You see her full name is Tai Aikae which is a last name that goes far in the wrestling business and particularly LCW, one of the most famed families in wrestling, they're practically a dynasty in their homeland of Samoa, and they have a special place in the history of LCW. Back in the late 70s, when the company was new, it wasn't a smooth ride to get the company off the ground, in fact, the company was in danger of going under. Enter "King" Tana The Mighty, the patriarch of the Aikae family. One of the most famous wrestlers in the world during the 60s and 70s and one of the toughest men to ever live. How tough? Once he was done wrestling, he served as the personal bodyguard of several kings and presidents because absolutely NO ONE was mad enough to mess with Tana The Mighty. In any case, during the lean early years of LCW, Tana helped Blackjack Bedlam finance the shows until the company was in a stable position, Blackjack never forgot this kindness and while Tana had no interest in money, Bedlam made sure to pay him back.

You see, Tana was a TOUGH man with a BIG family, and all of his outspring was TOUGH, the kids they had? They were even tougher. This is the legacy of The Aikae family, trained in their homeland in a gym Tana himself made with his own hands dubbed "The Samoan monster factory" the name was fitting as just about every wrestler that passed through those doors seemed to be an absurdly tough and powerful beast. So if Blackjack needed a fresh face or a threat for his champions? He'd call Tana. If Tana had a relative, he felt was ready to have matches? He'd call Blackjack. It was an agreement that paid dividends for both legends as Blackjack had easy access to blue chip standard wrestlers on the cheap, and The Aikae family had somewhere to develop their skills before they went off to the big leagues.

Many members of the Aikae family passed through the doors of LCW to various degrees of success, the most famous probably being "The sons of the island" who were a fixture of the tag scene for many years; and Tank Aikae. Tai is just the latest (and possibly) last name to come down the Aikae pipeline.

Blessed by her family's insane genetics standing 6.2 and 225ibs of a super muscular physique, the granddaughter of Tana the Mighty is living up to her family's reputation by spending the last year being an absolute MONSTER smashing and dominating her opponents. She currently serves as the enforcer of The House Of Handsome a role that got her plenty of attention during the final days of LCW.

Wrestling Style: An intense powerhouse in the truest sense of the word, Tai is a hard-hitting no-nonsense wall of muscle that can toss around opponents with all manner of slams and suplexes like they're made of paper.

Move Set:
Standing perfectly still, yes, that's right, totally still, while someone rushes into her with a diving or running attack, and they just SPLAT against her like a brick wall
Multiple short arm lariats
Argentine powerbomb
Double knees followed by a back elbow to an opponent seated at the corner
Pounce
Delayed Suplex
Swinging neckbreaker
-Corner splash
-Fisherman's suplex
-Spinebuster

Finisher
Harbour Bomb-Powerbomb hold and popped up into a Samoan drop

Name: "His Honorable" Judge Victor Hearstly
Height: 6 ft 5
Weight: 299 pounds
From: Dallas, Texas
Age: 37
DOB: June 26th, 1985
Alignment: Heel

Gimmick/Background: 'The Hanging Judge' Victor Hearstly is a reoccurring figure in Longhorn Championship Wrestling, both inside and outside of the ring, under the gimmick of a Corrupt Southern Judge. In the land of the wild west, arguments and feuds are settled with the usual way - good ol' fisticuffs and duels (in a non-fatal wrestling ring sort of way of course), so what's a bigger heel than a city slicker rolling into town and forcing his own 'civilized' notion of justice on the townsfolk? Of course, his notion of justice is holding his own kangaroo courts - where he himself is the Judge, Jury, and Executioner, but that's a lot to fit on a nameplate so we'll stick to Judge - to mock, belittle, and otherwise turn his nose up at the earnest hardworking babyfaces of LCW as he rules in favor of the heels extremely often, resulting in him orchestrating various obstacles or hurdles for the battling babyfaces to overcome on their way to the championships or revenge against a bigger, badder, actual wrestling heel. This would go on for a few months, before a babyface would get sick of it and challenge the Judge themselves. Hearstly would subsequently lose, be run out of town, and LCW would be free of his tyranny for a few months. Until, of course, he returned to power, citing some bylaw or loophole, and return to his position as 'The Honest Judge of LCW.' And so, the loop would start again, and again, and again. Interestingly, despite being a worthwhile asset for the heel side of LCW, it seems Victor Hearstly isn't particularly liked by his colleagues. Not just because of the whole 'city slicker muscling his way into a country territory and subsequently butting his fat nose into business that doesn't concern him', but because he's such a petty, sycophantic weasel on a power trip, not nearly as tough or rugged as many of LCW's finest. It seems that LCW's various heels begrudgingly tolerate his presence if it means a rival of theirs gets a thorn in their side, as when he's not in power, no-one really seems to miss him.

He is fond of using bigger words to make himself sound smarter, often using the wrong words or mispronouncing them in some fashion. When not wrestling, or helping be a jerk to a babyface wrestler, Victor Hearstly enjoys the occasional sweet honey iced tea and tending to his garden.

Accomplishments:
N/A

Wrestling Style: Not very good. Sluggish brawler/powerhouse.
Moveset:
- Body slam
- Corner splash
- Sidewalk slam
- Backbreaker
- Middling 'big man but not really' shit, idk
Finisher/s:
Malfeasance Misconduct - Sitout Chokebomb
Court Order - Strike with the judge's gavel

Jesse James Walker, better known as JJ Walker, is the younger brother of LCW star Rip Walker. Jesse is a bitter young man after having to live in the shadow of his brother for many years. When Rip went off to college and played football, Jesse was left to help on the family ranch. Rip was always seen as the more successful brother, so naturally Jesse grew jealous and over time a lot of tension was built up between the brothers.

Soon, Jesse left the ranch in Dallas and set out to Austin where began to train to wrestle after his brother had started to make a name for himself on the local independent scene as well as LCW. Jesse was tired of being seen as less than when compared to his brother, so he thought that anything Rip could do, he could do ten times better. Jesse trained under the tutelage of LCW legend, Steve Manson, aka The Handsome Stranger. Jesse learned so much from THS, Jesse looks up to THS and views him as the older brother that he never had. Jesse has a great respect and admiration for his mentor, so much so that Jesse has aligned himself with The Handsome Stranger in The House of Handsome.

Jesse has become estranged from his family and is viewed as a black sheep of the Walker family. Jesse likens himself to be more like an outlaw, similar to his namesake. Jesse has since permanently relocated to Austin, Texas, where he continues to train with THS. With LCW High Noon on the horizon, Jesse looks forward to making an impact and name for himself by any means necessary.

Tag Team: The Lone Star Bandits
Name: ‘Bulletproof’ Boone & ‘Bullseye’ Hyeon
Age: 29 (Boone), 28 (Hyeon)
From: Denver, Colorado (Boone), Seoul, South Korea (Hyeon)
Height: 5ft 10 (Boone), 5 ft 9 (Hyeon)
Weight: 217 (Boone), 211lbs (Hyeon)
Alignment: Face

Background: Boone Parker & Hyeon Barrow were two directionless talents from two separate promotions - CSW and SKRW, respectively - sent to LCW in a cross-promotional excursion in 2014. Initially used as little more than fodder, the two were thrown together as a team purely to give them something to do, and to give the rather barren tag division a team. The struck up a rapport and an earnest relationship, although their primarily high flying styles and pretty-boy looks did not endear themselves to the fans, and as such they remained in their jobber role until the tail end of their excursions. In the final month of their excursions, during a typical ‘heels squashing some fools’ match against House of Handsome, Boone & Hyeon showed tremendous heart and valor by being beaten to bloody pulps, yet continuously saved each other from being pinned and refused to submit. The gutsy performance won the fans over, even if they barely had any offense during the match, and resulted in the two being over for the first time in their LCW tenure.

Unfortunately their excursions ended soon after, and after electing to remain in touch, the two separated back to their respective home promotions. Several years went by, with neither attaining much success in their home promotions. Despite a strong push, Hyeon’s performances were lacking drive, and he soon settled into a midcard hand spot before quietly leaving. Meanwhile, Boone was too inconsistent, and would wind up breaking a leg, before being released from his contract while injured. It was during this time that Hyeon met up with Boone once again, and floated the idea of them returning to LCW, where oddly enough, he felt more at home than he did in his own promotion. Though hesitant, Boone agreed, if only because Hyeon was deadset on returning there, and he wanted to be with him. The two soon returned to LCW, now more polished and refined performers than they were during their first run, and while they still retained an agile base, their striking and brawling attributes had increased, now able to dish out better crowd-pleasing violence alongside their usual gymnastic displays.

Boone & Hyeon received a brief makeover after redebuting, adopting a gimmick as lovable roguish bandits, and an according name change - Boone Parker became ‘Bulletproof’ Boone, owing to his reputation for taking the most vicious of assaults and still fighting back, and Hyeon Barrow was redubbed as ‘Bullseye’ Hyeon, due to how his Hair-Trigger Shotgun (kick) never misses a target. The Lone Star Bandits - as they were now called - were received warmly by the LCW fans, and they managed to capture the LCW Tag Team Championships in early 2022, so far their only claim to fame. They have since settled in nicely as a face tandem to fight in the tag division or offer support to whichever babyface is currently feuding with House of Handsome.

Gimmick: ‘Bonnie & Clyde’ inspired bandits (complete with being overkilled with murderous intent by rivals)

Wrestling style: Hybrid of brawling & high flyers.

Finisher:
Boone: Ace In The Hole (Implant DDT)
Hyeon: Hair-Trigger Shotgun (Running Jumping Calf Kick)
As a team: Stand & Deliver - Leaping Leg Lariat/Crucifix Bomb

Picbase: Shannon Moore (Boone) & Jimmy Wang Yang (Hyeon)

Theme: Fall Out Boy - Last Of The Real Ones

EDIT: whoops, this is what happens when you have the tab open for several hours while looking for a theme without refreshing. Feel free to disregard this one, Tommy, I just wanted to give Jimmy Wang Yang some love.
