Background: Boone Parker & Hyeon Barrow were two directionless talents from two separate promotions - CSW and SKRW, respectively - sent to LCW in a cross-promotional excursion in 2014. Initially used as little more than fodder, the two were thrown together as a team purely to give them something to do, and to give the rather barren tag division a team. The struck up a rapport and an earnest relationship, although their primarily high flying styles and pretty-boy looks did not endear themselves to the fans, and as such they remained in their jobber role until the tail end of their excursions. In the final month of their excursions, during a typical ‘heels squashing some fools’ match against House of Handsome, Boone & Hyeon showed tremendous heart and valor by being beaten to bloody pulps, yet continuously saved each other from being pinned and refused to submit. The gutsy performance won the fans over, even if they barely had any offense during the match, and resulted in the two being over for the first time in their LCW tenure.
Unfortunately their excursions ended soon after, and after electing to remain in touch, the two separated back to their respective home promotions. Several years went by, with neither attaining much success in their home promotions. Despite a strong push, Hyeon’s performances were lacking drive, and he soon settled into a midcard hand spot before quietly leaving. Meanwhile, Boone was too inconsistent, and would wind up breaking a leg, before being released from his contract while injured. It was during this time that Hyeon met up with Boone once again, and floated the idea of them returning to LCW, where oddly enough, he felt more at home than he did in his own promotion. Though hesitant, Boone agreed, if only because Hyeon was deadset on returning there, and he wanted to be with him. The two soon returned to LCW, now more polished and refined performers than they were during their first run, and while they still retained an agile base, their striking and brawling attributes had increased, now able to dish out better crowd-pleasing violence alongside their usual gymnastic displays.
Boone & Hyeon received a brief makeover after redebuting, adopting a gimmick as lovable roguish bandits, and an according name change - Boone Parker became ‘Bulletproof’ Boone, owing to his reputation for taking the most vicious of assaults and still fighting back, and Hyeon Barrow was redubbed as ‘Bullseye’ Hyeon, due to how his Hair-Trigger Shotgun (kick) never misses a target. The Lone Star Bandits - as they were now called - were received warmly by the LCW fans, and they managed to capture the LCW Tag Team Championships in early 2022, so far their only claim to fame. They have since settled in nicely as a face tandem to fight in the tag division or offer support to whichever babyface is currently feuding with House of Handsome.
