Isis the Amazon aka Aloisa signs with LLUSA

- Former WWE NXT prospect Aloisia confirmed on her Twitter that she has joined Lucha Libre USA for their second season. She has been making promotional appearances for the promotion in New Mexico and will be using the name Isis The Amazon, her name before briefly signing with WWE.

It makes sense that they would sign someone to replace Kong. She is probably cheaper as well and will likely resume where Kong left off with Tigressa.

Nice attraction signing. She don't seem to be close to Kong's skill but has the same "wow" factor to her so it works.

Lizzy Valentine chooses LLUSA over Tough Enough

- As noted before, Shane Helms and Isis The Amazon (Aloisia) have been picked up by the Lucha Libre USA promotion. They have also signed women's wrestler Lizzy Valentine. Valentine was recruited by WWE for Tough Enough but she turned the deal down when Lucha Libre USA offered her a deal.

LLUSA and MTV2/Tres are doing work and signing different talent like they said they would when they got a central location for Masked Warriors.

I wonder if they are just going to bring in more female talents to the show instead of bringing Wrestlicious to the network like was discussed months ago

ODB signs with LLUSA

Former TNA Knockouts Champion, ODB has been signed up to appear at tapings in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

ODB will appear at the February 19th taping.

Add another one to the list of signings.

Yeah. They are coming back on MTV2 and Tres. They will also still be doing house shows as they draw better than ROH and TNA (around 2000 plus fans on average in the states and more in Mexico). The only change was that they are going to tape from one location instead of changing locations like last season. They will be working out of the Hard Rock in New Mexico.

I just made it one thread for all signings in case there are more which seems likely.

I also forgot to add that they signed Petey Williams before the new year began as well.

Hmm might have to watch this then. They got a lot of talent though so I hope they plan on extending the show.

The wrestling isn't bad. They have some chessy ass short skits with Pequeno Halloween but they let their guys and it looks like soon to be girls work. Plus the talent gets to make some cash with AAA so all is good on the pay front for them I guess.

According to Helms their first TV taping this year will be Jan 22 iirc. MTV2 still has no date scheduled for this to air.

I tried watching this last year but was unable to. Quit after the first show but I may try again as I see they are all up on MTV.COM

All the season 1 episodes are online.

The first taping for the second season was during the end of December and marked the debut of Petey Williams.

They also crowned their first champion on that show didnt they?

The second is on January 22 and will feature the debut of Shane Helms.

The third is on February 3.

The fourth is on February 19 and will feature the debut of ODB.
