For his first Royal Rumble PPV booking, Triple H didn't really do a bad job at all. He actually did awesome work. This was a ppv that I actually watched all of it with my family and fiancee. We all loved it. Yeah, the Lights Out Match was a bore but I will not totally shit on it. It was new and creative. Bliss vs Bianca I never want to see again. It clearly wasn't about the title at all. Just to continue the Bliss/Howie angle. Both Rumble winners were the right choice. So was the iron man and Iron Woman.
Rhea and Cody both were logically the best ones to win the rumble because they both were build up with a lot of momentum going in.
2 new stars were made in those rumbles besides the winners. Gunther was a million bucks in his rumble and Liv Morgan was a star that last the whole time until she got eliminated by Rhea at the end. Those two really have great chemistry with one another and I am proud to say that. Gunther has always been a machine. Liv Morgan has improved a lot during her 5 years being on the main roster. Enough that the company trusted her to be the Iron Woman and I know she will get a pay off some time later this year. But she was a star.
Glad that we got Kana version of Asuka in WWE. That was long overdue.
Roman Reigns vs Kevin Owens gave me so much emotions and my mom really cried during the Sami beat down. If you make my family cry during the best angle in modern day WWE then you must have done something right.
This rumble gets a 8/10 from me. Great shit WWE.
