Definitely feels like we'll see Austin in it this year. Even sweetened by it being in Texas too.

Also imagine a scenario where Rock/Austin are both in it and they have a stare down/brawl one last time. It'd be one of the biggest pops ever in a Rumble.

I'm setting myself up for disappointment even though i've got 100% faith in Trips doing this years Rumble right, it can't be worse than last years either way.

Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair battles Alexa Bliss​

At Royal Rumble, a very dangerous Alexa Bliss will challenge Bianca Belair for the Raw Women's Title with the ominous Uncle Howdy lurking in the shadows.

In a hard-fought Raw Women's Championship Match pitting Belair against Bliss on Raw, the sudden appearance of several Uncle Howdy masks in the crowd caused The Goddess of WWE to completely snap. After taking out the referee, Bliss executed a brutal attack on The EST of WWE, smashing her on the steel steps and taking her out of action.

In the wake of the haunting onslaught, Bliss made it clear that the title was all but hers. She later insisted that the titleholder should not fear Bray Wyatt or Uncle Howdy but that Belair should fear her because she is the "face of evil." Despite doubts being cast on the situation by an emerging Uncle Howdy, Bliss maintained her focus when Belair returned from her injuries. As the two irate Superstars brawled into the crowd, however, Uncle Howdy again made an appearance to drastically affect the melee and cast further doubt over whether he is actually the one in control.​

WWE officials are reportedly very satisfied with surprises planned for the Royal Rumble.

Cody Rhodes’ WWE return has been expected for the Royal Rumble, but WWE surprised many this week when they officially announced him for the 30-Man Royal Rumble match.

In regards to WWE announcing Cody’s return instead of having him return as a Rumble surprise, a new report from WrestleVotes notes that this was a two-fold situation. For one, nearly everyone expected Rhodes to return at The Rumble, and two, officials are reportedly “more than pleased” with the other surprises they have lined up for the big event.​

Honestly, getting Austin, Rock, Cody Rhodes, and Orton in the ring at once and I think fans would lose their collective marbles. All the more reason to go for it and cement Rhodes as WWE's future by eliminating all of them, right?

I honestly don’t think they’re bringing Austin in just to lose. I think Rollins gets eliminated by Cody and then comes back afterwards to cost Cody the match. Rock ends up winning.

Orton I think is still injured.
