Well WWE just confirmed it. Andy Kaufman is indeed being inducted into the Hall of Fame this year.

Kaufman's time in Memphis is well documented but did you know that Andy and Debbie Harry from Blondie were in a Broadway play about pro wrestling back in 1983, Frank?

It was called Teaneck Tanzi : The Venus Flytrap and it pre-dated the 80's wrestling boom by almost a year
It opened on Broadway on April 20, 1983 and it closed on Broadway on April 20, 1983
I think we can all agree that this was the real catalyst to rasslin becoming so hot in the 80's and it's about time that Andy Kaufman got his proper credit for it

Hmm really tough call. I'm not sure who's "loved" as far as refs go either but the first 3 that come to mind are Hebner, Chioda, and Lil Naitch. And Hebner might never get in bc of his bootleg merch shit

As much as the Hebners and Chioda would be great picks, Tim White would almost certainly have to be the first referee picked. He was beloved by everyone and was a member of the company longer than either Dave or Earl Hebner, was Andre the Giant's confidante, and was one of Vince's trusted men.

It'd have to be him before anyone else.
