At WWE Elimination Chamber, Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns will look to destroy Sami Zayn in front of his former "Honorary Uce's" home crowd in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
Beginning in the spring of 2022, Zayn sought inclusion in The Bloodline and slowly worked his way into their inner sanctum to the point of being named “Honorary Uce” by Reigns. Although he helped Reigns and the dominant faction numerous times, often to his own detriment, he truly proved himself at Survivor Series WarGames when he prevented Reigns from getting pinned and blasted Kevin Owens with a low blow to help The Bloodline win. Above all, this action secured the support of Jey Uso, the biggest skeptic of Zayn's loyalty to date.
Once he reached the pinnacle of acceptance within The Bloodline, though, Zayn was on borrowed time. He would soon find himself in doubt by The Head of the Table for various reasons, including the WWE Universe chanting his name rather than Roman's as well as when Zayn guaranteed victory in a tag team match pitting Reigns and himself against John Cena and Owens. Nevertheless, Zayn narrowly avoided being ousted from the faction when he was found “not guilt” during a “trial” on Raw XXX.
But in a fateful moment at Royal Rumble, Reigns aggressively urged Zayn to again prove himself by joining a brutal post-match attack on Owens. Instead, Zayn chose to strike The Head of the Table in the back with a steel chair. In response, Reigns, Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa issued a merciless beatdown on their one-time cohort while a distraught Jey Uso walked away from the chaos.
In the wake of the catastrophic events, The Master Strategist responded to Reigns by attacking the dominant titleholder on SmackDown and challenging him to a match. When Jimmy and Sikoa answered with another counter-attack, Reigns stopped them. Instead, he agreed to Zayn's challenge and pledged to finish off Zayn for good in front of his home crowd of Montreal at WWE Elimination Chamber.
