The key in this situation is not that they changed their mind, but Lesnar was actually never booked for the show, only advertised for it. There was never a plan discussed for a match with him. This is a different type of false advertising than WWE usually does, which would be situations where they change their mind, or somebody gets hurt or sick and they know they won’t be there, but they keep it from the public and continue to advertise them. This is spreading things into a new realm, especially because Lesnar is theoretically one of the two biggest drawing cards the company has, and has been positioned as the company’s top babyface."

RK-Bro would come to crash the party on the ensuing SmackDown, but the blue brand champions took exception with their presence. Orton & Riddle would proceed to lay down the challenge, and the longest-reigning SmackDown Tag Team Champions weren't going to run from the fight.
