Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan vs. Rhea Ripley​

At SummerSlam, Rhea Ripley looks to begin her own revenge tour against Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan.

After The Nightmare injured Morgan and put her out of action for nearly a year, Morgan came back in a big way in 2024, embarking on her “Liv Morgan Revenge Tour.”

Her first stop was injuring Ripley and forcing Mami to relinquish her Women’s World Title.

With Ripley out of the picture, Morgan defeated Becky Lynch to win the Women’s World Title before turning her attention to “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio and the rest of The Judgment Day.

Morgan’s influences allowed Finn Bálor and JD McDonagh to become World Tag Team Champions, and she slowly corrupted Mysterio by putting him in comprising positions and kissing him on several occasions.

On the July 8 episode of Raw, Mysterio and Morgan were once again seen in a compromising spot before both were shocked at the arrival of Ripley.

With The Nightmare back, her gaze is solely focused on regaining the title she never lost.

Can Ripley take back the Women’s World Title from Morgan? And how much a factor will “Dirty” Dom play in the match?

About damn time.

This has been one of their biggest stories for ages and even involves several men’s stories intertwined in it. I still think wrestlemania would have been perfect, but it’s built even more since then and SummerSlam is at least the second biggest show of the year. I can’t wait for this.

Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes vs. Solo Sikoa​

Solo Sikoa is out to return the Undisputed WWE Championship to The Bloodline when "The New Tribal Chief" challenges Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam.

When Roman Reigns took a leave after losing the Undisputed WWE Title to The American Nightmare at WrestleMania, Sikoa took the mantle of Tribal Chief and made significant changes to the deadly faction. After ruthlessly brutalizing his brother Jimmy Uso and adding the destructive Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa – sons of the legendary Haku – Sikoa then secured a new enforcer in the form of the ultra-destructive Jacob Fatu.

Solo has made it clear that he is coming for the title, and when he pinned Rhodes in a Six-Man Tag Team Match at WWE Money in the Bank, that showdown seemed inevitable.

Rhodes agreed and proposed the matchup himself in a face-to-face with Solo.

Is the Undisputed WWE Championship destined to return to The Bloodline?​

I'd say Seth needs it more than anything cause otherwise he's off the card

Oh Seth needs it for sure and he adds a nice touch to the match because of the shit he has going on with Punk too but I just think this being the first match between Punk & Drew and all the heat behind it, I would have liked it to be all focused on them.

Tbh the feud is between Drew and Punk. I don’t want Seth near that match.

There’s nothing else for Seth to do so I’d understand if he was the referee. And it fits the story.

If he screws Punk over, another extra layer for their eventual program

Ever since MITB I'm under the belief they're building back to a Punk/Seth Mania main event so I think Seth being reinserted into this makes sense.

WWE SummerSlam is steadily approaching, and now we have an update on one of the marquee title matches happening on the program,

According to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Sami Zayn is set to defend his WWE Intercontinental Championship against Bron Breakker in a rematch from their bout at Money In The Bank. On that night, Zayn managed to defeat Breakker, who had put on a dominating performance and nearly won the title on several occasions.

The report notes that the other I.C. title contender, Ilja Dragunov, will NOT be added making it a triple-threat. However, since nothing official has been confirmed by WWE that could always change, but it seems the idea right now is to keep it a singles-contest.​
