I'm viewing it like when I beat on Iceland to beat England in the euros at half time. If something bad is going to happen, I want some money to cushion the blow. But yeah he will be back sadly

This show was the breaking point for Wrestling with Wregret’s Brian Zane, more so for the toxicity of fans and tribalism than what happened on the show that he’s now covering guest host era Raw episodes and no more modern day wrestling reviews.

That's interesting because I feel like until Brock's return there wasn't a particularly high degree of anti-WWE stuff online that isn't usually there. But either way, that actually works out for me because I prefer classic reviews. It's probably also a lot more fun for a wrestling fan to just watch modern wrestling instead of having to think about reviewing every sure and dealing with all the hot takes and such.

Yeah, like it was pretty good up til that moment. Like say they cut that moment. I'd probably give it around 4 stars or so.

Yeah it was a good show up until that moment. The women’s triple threat was good, TLC ruled, Becky vs Lyra was fun, and Dom vs AJ was a lot of fun too.

Cena vs Cody II was fucking awesome. Night 2 was fucking awesome up until the s*xual predator came back.

Damn HHH for this. Dude tried to throw Cena under the bus too and say it was him who wanted Lesnar. Yeah, right.

At least we got a banger of a match. I hope Cena wipes the floor with Lesnar not just for obvious reasons, but also because I'm tired of babyface Cena being synonymous with losing lmao

Because Cena hates controversy and adamantly avoids it. He's a golden boy and universally beloved. There's almost nothing he could do that would ruin his reputation, so taking HHH's words at face value, to me, feel like a way to try and dispel any controversy.

"See? Our infallible nice guy who everyone likes wanted Lesnar! So it's okay!"

I understand that might not be your opinion, though. That's just mine.

This is insanely meaningless in the grand scheme of things but I keep seeing stuff like "this is why HHH said the allegations are allegations line" but like, do we seriously not think he would have said that line even if Brock wasn't coming back? I don't even think it's the first time he said it lmao like I said, meaningless and shouldn't affect your opinions on anything either way, but that's a funny correlation people keep making

i think there was maybe only 1 bad match overall maybe two? read the fatu match was ass and the lyra becky match was good but the crowd shat on it because of bad card placement . which sucks and its happened on aedw ppvs before too and I always feel bad for the ladies when it happens
