He's been on the roster for supporting roles. He only started his role with Corbin last September. Before then it was NXT/24/7 champion... he's only been on the main roster since January 2020 (then covid).

And you're making all of my points... the fans will grow stale if you've been on TV that much for that long with hardly any impressive momentum. It'll take time all over again (i.e. stale ass Liv Morgan and such)
