Friday's WWE SmackDown
averaged 2.212 million viewers on Fox, down 6.5 percent from the previous week. It's still the second-best audience for the show since July 22.
SmackDown topped all network television in the 18-49 demo on Friday with a 0.50 rating. but it was behind ESPN's college football coverage, which was first on all of TV with a 0.77 rating in 18-49.
SmackDown also led all English-language programming on the networks with a 0.29 rating in the 18-34 demo. It finished behind college football in that age group, along with two shows on Univision.
As compared to the same week in 2021, SmackDown was down 1.4 percent in total viewers and down 13.8 percent in 18-49. It's the seventh straight week the show has had a double-digit decline in the key demo.
