Friday night's WWE SmackDown averaged 2.147 million viewers on Fox, down 4.7 percent from the previous week. It's the second-lowest audience for the show since August 20.
In the 18-49 demo, SmackDown fell 16.1 percent to a 0.52 rating. That was tied for the top spot among network programming but trailed four sporting events on cable. Three MLB playoff games on TBS and FS1 and a college football game on ESPN topped all of television in the key demo.
SmackDown finished first among network programming in the 18-34 demo, drawing a 0.33 rating. In terms of overall viewers, SmackDown was in seventh place out of eight shows.
The demo number was SmackDown's lowest since July 9, which was the week before WWE returned to live touring.
As compared to this week last year, SmackDown was down 1.4 percent in overall viewers and down 13.3 percent in the demo.
