Friday night's WWE SmackDown averaged 2.252 million viewers on Fox, up 5.5 percent from the previous week. It's the best number the show has done since the September 10 episode from Madison Square Garden and is the third-best viewership for SmackDown since WWE's return to live touring.
In the 18-49 demo, SmackDown topped all of television with a 0.62 rating, just ahead of ABC's Most Magical Story
, which drew a 0.61. That's up 12.7 percent from last week and also matches the third highest rating SmackDown has done since returning to touring.
Friday's show featured night one of the WWE Draft. The draft continues tonight on Raw.
SmackDown was also up in the 18-34 demo, finishing second on television with a 0.40 rating. That's up 25 percent from last week, when SmackDown actually led all of television. Most Magical Story came in first in 18-34 on Friday night.
Since they were all airing first-run programming, SmackDown finished last in terms of total viewership on the major broadcast networks.
As compared to this week last year, SmackDown was up 4.5 percent in overall viewers and up 3.3 percent in the 18-49 demo.
