Sami as IC Champ would be really fucking fun lol

His IC title run last year was the best one since Rollins's 1st IC reign in 2018 imo

Yeah Sami's IC title run was a delight, especially bc I didn't expect it to have the life it did lol

he won it at Elimination Chamber last year in early-March (last ppv with crowds), and he lost it in the final SD episode of the year in December

I legitimately can't see Sami as a babyface anymore, his character work has been tremendous over the years

There's a technicality though since they "vacated" the IC title in May, and crowned a new one in June (with Styles as IC Champ and then Jeff) before Zayn came back in late-August

then Zayn won that entertaining Ladder match in September, and officially became the rightful IC Champ
